Mika Takahashi
Programs Assistant

After graduating from the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan, Mika worked for Tate Corporation, a performing arts promoter in Tokyo. While there, she helped produce St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre’s first tour of Japan. She received her MA from Columbia University in Cultural Anthropology and Performing Arts in 2006. During graduate school, Mika worked for New York City Opera and Broadway Dance Center in New York. Mika enjoys appreciating ballet and opera, reading, watching Japanese drama, and shopping. Although she enjoys working and living in DC, her heart is still in Japan. She began working for the Kirov Academy of Ballet in September 2006, and hopes for every student’s success!
