Rebecca Rorke
Director of Programs

The Director of Summer Programs since 2004, Rebecca has a history in the classical ballet field. Originally from Harrisburg, PA, Rebecca received her dance training from the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and the Cumberland Dance Company. She went on to perform and teach classical ballet on professional and collegiate levels. After graduating with a BFA in Arts Management and Dance from Point Park College, Rebecca began a career in the field of arts administration. Most recently serving as the Director of Government Affairs for Dance/USA, Rebecca trekked the halls of the U.S. Congress lobbying on behalf of the professional dance field on key federal issues affecting nonprofit arts organizations, including funding for the National Endowment for the Arts, charitable giving incentives, arts education, and immigration reforms for international artists. Rebecca lives in the heart of Washington, DC, and in her spare time likes to travel, read, exercise, cook, and enjoys good food, good wine and good friends.
