Victor Shklyar
Accompanist
Victor Shklyar received a Masters Degree in Piano Performance in 1984 from the Belarus State Conservatory in Minsk, and in 1988 he received a Ph.D. in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the StPetersburg State Conservatory, in StPetersburg, Russia.
He has been a teacher, a lecturer and an accompanist in several Schools and Colleges in Russia (StPetersburg Conservatory) and in the the USA (Indianapolis Institute School of Arts, The Madeira School, The Washington Bible College, Goucher College, Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore School for the Arts.)
Mr Shklyar has performed in several solo performances, and was awarded a Honorary Diploma from Lithuanian State Conservatory of Music at the Tchurlionis Competition in Vilnius.
Victor is a member of the American Music Teachers Association, and he has been an accompanist at the Kirov Academy since 2000. |
